During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Italy showed diverse trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps Go had a notable performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 36K and 65K. The app saw a peak in the final week of March with nearly 65K downloads. Active users remained consistently high, starting at 8.2M in early January and ending at 8.3M by late March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 26K in the last week of March. Active users for the app were relatively stable, starting at 1.1M and closing the quarter at 1.06M.

Google Earth saw weekly downloads vary from 19K to 23K throughout the quarter. The app’s active users also showed a positive trend, beginning the quarter at 246K and rising to 276K by the end of March.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector generated consistent revenue, with weekly earnings ranging from $3.2K to $6.3K. Downloads fluctuated between 5.1K and 10.3K, and active users remained stable around the 30K mark, ending the quarter at 29.1K.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer showed growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 7.6K in late January. Active users increased from 3.8K in early January to 5.8K by the end of March.
